I would like to thank Paul Marr for hosting an outstanding 2012 meeting at Shippensburg University. I sincerely hope that we can continue that tradition at SUNY Buffalo State in 2013.
This year’s Middle States meeting will be held on October 18-19 at Buffalo State in Buffalo, NY. Buffalo State is the largest comprehensive four-year college in the State University of New York (SUNY) system. We offer more than 150 undergraduate academic programs and educate over 11,000 undergraduate and graduate students each year. The college is known for its strong community connections and a continuing commitment to providing high-quality lifelong learning opportunities.
Buffalo State is a truly urban campus located in the city’s museum district, one of Buffalo’s most exciting neighborhoods. Our campus is adjacent to the world renowned Albright-Knox Art Gallery and Delaware Park, which was designed by Frederick Law Olmstead. The campus is surrounded by trendy cafes, restaurants, shops, and Victorian-styled housing. Our 125-acre campus is walkable and the MSD meeting space will be in the newly renovated Campbell Student Union. If you would like to learn more about Buffalo State, please visit this website.
I look forward to seeing everyone again at this year’s meeting and another great MSD regional conference.
